Megan Whitlock Joins Schneider Downs as Tax Shareholder

PI TTSBURGH, PA; COLUMBUS, OH. – Schneider Downs announces that Megan Whitlock, CPA, has joined its Tax shareholder group to expand the firm’s growing Tax practice with a focus on partnership taxation. Megan is based out of Dallas, Texas and will lead the focus of the firm's tax practice across all of its offices in Columbus, Pittsburgh and Metropolitan Washington.

In this position, Megan will focus on client needs specific to the tax implications of complex partnership transactions. Megan has extensive experience working with both private equity sponsors and private equity owned companies. She also has experience advising on the tax implications of complex real estate and oil and gas transactions, but her client leadership has spanned various industries and transaction sizes throughout her career. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in the national tax office of a Big Four firm and most recently was the National Tax Director for a national firm.

Megan is a certified public accountant and holds a Master in Professional Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business.
