For the first time ever, the Ohio Trucking Association (OTA) has partnered with Schneider Downs to produce an annual Transportation Business Outlook and Economic Survey.  Over the past year, members of both our organizations have worked tirelessly to survey the OTA membership, analyze those results, and produce a timely, relevant tool for our region’s transportation industry.

This report is organized into three sections:

• Economic Conditions
• Industry Challenges
• Political/Regulatory

Each section provides quantitative analyses and insightful commentary on the biggest issues impacting trucking companies that do business in Ohio.  Topics addressed include driver shortage, healthcare costs, and tax reform, just to name a few.
